Even though it is an old incident---took place in 2010---it is worth reporting in the context of recent controversies surrounding Ashok Mittal due to Income Tax raids, his link with fugitive hawala dealer Nand Kishore Chaturvedi, opening of LOC and probe under Black Money Act.

 As per the report, Bipasha was in New Delhi to launch her latest fitness DVD but the entire launch turned into a harrowing experience for the Bong bombshell after Ashok Mittal, chairman of Hotel Ramada Plaza abused her after refused to attend his birthday party. A source in the hotel says that Bipasha has initially agreed to attend the party but decided against it when she came to know it was Mittal's birthday party. Bipasha has been paid Rs. 4 lakhs by the hotel owners attend a post-launch party at the hotel for 15-20 minutes. Shemaroo which was launching the DVD said Bipasha did not attend the party due to misrepresentation of facts. Mittal allegedly banged onto Bipasha's door and created a ruckus outside her room. He alleged that Bipasha being greedy had demanded Rs. 30 lakhs from the hotel upon hearing that it was the chairman"s birthday party. Shemaroo Entertainment will not have to pay Hotel Ramada Plaza Rs. 10,40,000 as a compensation.
